Strain modification

Chemical analysis and purification
Cathay's technical strength lies in both bio-fermentation and post-fermentation processes such as bulk product purification and chemical analysis. We constantly monitor and improve our bioprocesses to achieve better quality, higher purity and yield, and minimal hazardous material usage and waste production. We design, test, and optimize new purification pathways at the industrial level.
Chemical synthesis
Our chemical engineers perform small- to mid-scale chemical synthesis, and have developed unique technologies to produce various downstream products derived from long-chain diacids. Our chemical engineers can help our clients with their specific application needs.
