Cathay Receives 2005 Technical Innovation Award

On January 12, 2006, in a ceremony sponsored by the Shanghai Zhangjiang High Tech Park, Cathay was awarded the 2005 Technical Innovation Award for our successful development of “Fermentation Produced Dibasic Acids” used in polyamides, coatings and adhesives. Dr Xiucai Liu, Cathay's CEO, thanked the Cathay employees for earning this award and stated: “With over 2,000 companies registered in the Zhangjiang High Tech Park, the award has special meaning to Cathay as a recognition of our hard work. We also would like to thank the Park for their support through the years and for making the Zhangjiang High Tech Park the premier zone in China.”
